Beautiful antique Chinese ginger jar with clear white background glaze and vibrant blue underglaze floral motif. Decorated with Double Happiness symbols on the front and back, with a corresponding symbol on the lid. Dates to the 1870s.These jars were traditionally used in Chinese weddings as decorations. Measures approx. 8” x 9.5”. Some age-related wear (see pictures).
